Page Development Competency D - The teacher candidate demonstrates the ability to create and edit the content of web pages, and post his/her results to a web server. The web site must include multiple items from of the following list:

In addition, the web site must be free of grammar, spelling and punctuation errors. Fair use guidelines must be followed and non-original material properly cited. Training Resources: Course instructor will provide basic orientation, but students are responsible for learning the required skills using available resources. University computer labs provide hardware and software and access to on-line resources. Scoring Rubric: A scoring rubric provides definitive criteria for assessing this competency. See the Evaluation web page for required elements. Submission Format: The student must submit a fully functional Web page (accessible by standard browsers) and a written rationale for the web site developed, including an explanation of how it will be used for education purposes. Both the rationale and a link to the actual web site must be submitted in the student’s electronic portfolio. Passing Criterion: 100% level of performance. |
