Web Searching

The I-Search tutorial constitutes the necessary preparation for completing the On-Line Searching test. To prepare for this test, review the information found in the tutorial.

I-Search is comprised of six modules. Each one takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. All of the modules include a list of key concepts and skills you should learn, an explanation of those concepts and skills, and a quiz. The quizzes at the end of each module will be good practice for the ITPS test.

Please note that the quizzes associated with the I-Search tutorial DO NOT constitute the Web Searching test.

After you feel comfortable with the information from the I-Search tutorial, you should be ready to take the on-line test in the evaluation section.

You may augment your ability to conduct on-line searches on the World Wide Web by studying tips from Google.
